Lachy Richie
Lachy Richie co-founded Dismantle with Bridie Richie (his sister and our Chair) back in 2010. He handed the CEO mantle over the then General Manager Pat Ryan back in 2015, but has kept his pinky finger in the Dismantle pie via the board.
In 2016, Lachy returned to his life-long passion for agriculture, spending two years working with impact investors Small Giants on their regenerative agriculture strategy and in an enterprise development role.
Lachy has also worked with a leading Australian Impact Investor to create investment ready projects across Australia that integrate biodiversity conservation with regenerative agriculture.Currently, he’s back in WA, involved in building Farmfolk, an organisation dedicated to transforming the global food system and restoring health to the earth.
Lachy is dedicated to using business as a force for good. Dismantle was the first of four purpose driven enterprises he has so far founded, and he’s also served as a director of a philanthropic foundation, consulted to a wide range of clients and worked for two Impact Investment offices. Dismantle was his baby, and he understands its nuances completely. That knowledge, along with his extensive experience of social enterprise, makes him an excellent man to have a-board.
