I’m Shannon, the ReNew Property Maintenance Manager. As well as managing the logistics of ReNew Properties, I work hands-on alongside disadvantaged youth, completing gardening rounds and landscaping for a variety of different clients. We also service and instal Steady Rack bike racks. I used to be a Bike Rescue program manager prior to shifting over to ReNew, and I’ve worked in a whole lot of different jobs, doing everything from business management to training to mentoring and case management. 

I love working in a hands-on role and I am blown away by how well participants in the program are transformed into being work-ready and reliable.

For example, one young guy told me recently that his family and community thought he would make nothing of is his life - he is so proud to tell them he has a job. Now he wants to be a role model for his brothers and sisters. This is one of many stories that I am privileged to be a part of.

Outside of work, I am involved with my church, I coach my two daughters in cross country and basketball, and I do a bit of water-skiing, golf and cycling.
