Corporate Volunteering

Here’s everything you need to know before your session!


Finding us:

7 Riversdale Rd, Burswood WA 6100.

 

Getting here:

Carpooling or rideshare is recommended as onsite parking is very limited, however, street parking is available on Goodwood Pde (shown below).

 

Public transport:

  • Burswood train station ~9 min walk (Thornlie line)

  • Bus stop located on Great Eastern Highway (286,935,940) and others close by.

The Session:

Each Corporate Volunteering session begins with a 'Welcome to Dismantle and Safety Briefing', which leads into the workshop activities your team will be completing.

Activities may include:

  • Dismantling and preparing program bikes

  • Familiarisation with tools and parts

  • Adding seats, handlebars and tyres

  • Applying brakes, gears and bike chains

  • Cabling and fine-tuning pre-built bicycle

  • Spray painting

  • Working on kids bikes to prepare for donation

Workshop rules:

  • Make sure you are wearing closed-in shoes.

  • Bringing your own water bottle is recommended.

  • Long pants are recommended.

  • Any PPE requires will be provided.

*Cancellation policy:

If you need to cancel a Corporate Volunteering Session, you may do so and receive a full refund provided that you cancel at least 5 days before the scheduled booking. Any cancellations made less than 5 days before the session will not be eligible for a refund. We appreciate your understanding as last-minute cancellations can affect our ability to plan and prepare for the session. Thank you.
